Roman Blinds and Pelmets.
Roman Blinds are softly tailored rectangles of un-stiffened Fabric.
Roman Blinds can be lined, interlined and blackout lined, they form a series of lateral folds. When the blind is fully drawn up - the bottom edge of the blind forms a pleat, which covers all folds on the reverse of the blind protecting the front of the fabric from fading. The front folds of Roman Blinds cover all the intermediate folds, this cascades gently, a small amount of the back flap showing. These are bespoke, made to order blinds. Roman Blinds can be fitted below flat upholstered pelmets (shown here) creating a very tailored window treatment. Blinds currently have an three week waiting list. Curtains a little longer.
